If you are a professional seller, you can create a “company” type account. If you plan to sell used items as an individual, you can create an “individual person” account.
STEP 2: PUBLISH AN OFFER
To create and publish a “Conscious Offer” you will first need to log in to your account and then visit your “Dashboard” (by clicking the “Dashboard” link on the top right corner).
Click on “My Offers” tab from your dashboard’s menu on the left and select “Create Coupon Offer”.
Complete all the information required in the form provided and hit the “Create” button.
Additional information about how to select the right Offer type/category can be found here.
Your Offer will not appear to the public until you click the green “Publish” button. You may edit the content of your Offer even after your offer has been published.
If you decide you want to temporarily remove an Offer from public view, you can click the green “Deactivate” button.
Something to keep in mind: All sellers are required to let their customers know how much they are willing to donate every time a sale meets the criteria they specify. A couple of simple scenarios would be:
“For every 30 euro you spend at my store, I will donation 2 euro to a cause of your choice”
“If you buy the product described in this Offer, I will donate 3 euro to a cause of your choice”
Currently, Controlley doesn’t provide an online payment method, which means the sales transaction will have to take place offline between you and the buyer.
After the sale is completed, you will need to visit your account in order to send your customer a “Donation Coupon” worth the amount specified in your Offer. The coupon will be validated by your customer through our platform and decide what cause they would like to support.
STEP 3: SEND “DONATION COUPONS”
To send a “Donation Coupon”, the seller will need to go to the DONATIONS page of a given Offer and click the “Send Coupon” button. The Coupons page can be accessed in the user’s dashboard by selecting “My Offers” menu tab => “Manage Coupon Offers” => “view” selected Offer, and click on the DONATIONS button.
The seller will be asked to specify the coupon’s value and the recipient’s name and email address. The expiry date of the coupon is set by default to 30 days.
After a coupon is sent, the seller will be able to keep track of when the coupon has been validated or not and when.
NOTE: If company sellers prefer to hand out printed coupons to their customer, they can conduct us and we can send them a series of coupon codes they can print on custom-designed coupons.
Coupons can be paid any time after sent, either before or after they have been validated by your customers.
STEP 4: MAKE DONATION PAYMENTS
To pay for Donation coupons you sent, you will need to visit the “Donation Payments” page that can be found under “My Offers” tab. This page will sum up all the validated donation coupon amounts from all the Offers you published.
After you click the “Pay Now” button next to the TOTAL AMOUNT DUE you will see a list of all the Social Projects that have unpaid donation coupons amounts. The TOTAL AMOUNT NEEDED by each project corresponds to all the unpaid donation coupons sent by all sellers.
You will be instructed to select a Social Project of your choice, and type an amount you wish to donate. You are advised to pay the SUGGESTED DONATION amount provided for you. The amount you pay to a given project has to be the same or lower than this suggested amount. By paying the suggested amount, you will limit the total number of payments you will need to make.

STEP 5: TRACK YOUR SOCIAL CONTRIBUTION
When you create your Controlley account, you are also given the chance to create your own public profile page. This profile page is called “Confolio” (short for “Conscious Folio”) and keeps track of your social contribution.
As more and more social tools are developed on our platform, a user’s Confolio will showcase things like: donations to various causes, volunteering or pro bono work you or your employees have done, responsible actions you may have taken such as recycling habits, good business practices, social innovation projects, etc.
“The Conscious Trolley” is an online collaborative platform that turns conscious and socially responsible behavior into “shared value” for everyone involved.
